Born in Williamsburg,
Virginia in 1871 Ross was an impressionist painter who worked in oil and
watercolor. He specialized in landscapes and marine subjects.
Ross earned a living as an architect in the firm
of Ross and McNeal in New York City. His work was exhibited
by the Yonkers Art Association and
the Society of Independent Artists. Ross died in Yonkers, New York in 1944.
