Adolph
Hervier was a French artist born in Paris in 1818. He exhibited at
the Salon nine times, the first of which was in 1849. Hervier's
fellow artists praised his work, among them Champfleury,
Gautier, and Rondolphe
Bresdin. His work is in the collection of the National
Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
