Kurt
Sluizer (1911-1988) and his wife,
Ester, a weaver, moved to Woodstock in the early 1930’s. They bought
lithographer and painter
Bolton Brown’s 19th Century home where Sluizer remained the rest of his life. He was a longtime member of the
Woodstock Artist’s Association and is a listed artist.
