Dorothy Young Graham graduated from Stephens college and then from Iowa
State Universtity. She studied with Adolph Dehn, Fletcher Martin,
and Robert Brackman.
She began to show in 1942 in Davenport, Iowa. After marrying in 1946
she and her husband relocated to Atkinson, Illinois where she had a studio
built. In addition to exhibiting her work she received the Wagner
Printing Company Purchase Award and the David Palmer Award.
